Creating performance in the workplace doesn’t have as much to do with demanding results but rather with the environment and tone that’s been set by the leadership. When more emphasis is put on pointless meetings than getting work done, performance will suffer. When leaders do more talking than listening, performance will suffer. When more time is put into writing rules than drafting much needed training, performance will suffer.
